Autumn is full of festivals and events!

In this area as well, there are industrial festivals and cultural festivals happening everywhere, and many people seem to be hopping from one event to another.

Industrial festivals offer plenty of local vegetables and delicious foods, but wouldn't it be fun to host a workshop?

We highly recommend it!

Our "Washi Korokoro" handmade kits come with instructions.

The kit parts include printed faces and die-cut pieces, so with glue or paste, you can create cute roly-poly dolls just by assembling them.

※ Some simple cutting with scissors is required.

Participants can keep creating on their own, so event staff only need to supervise.

It's a workshop enjoyable for everyone from small children to seniors.

This Weekend: Overseas Visitors Challenge the "Washi Korokoro" Samurai Series

Inbound Group Tour

Experience Gifu's Traditional Crafts

━…━…━…━…━…━…━…━

This weekend, a group tour from Taiwan will visit us for a crafting experience.

This time, the travel agency selected the "Washi Korokoro" Samurai Series.

For the first time in a tour, the Samurai Series will be experienced by overseas visitors.

The Samurai Series includes famous historical figures such as Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Akechi Mitsuhide, Kicho (Nohime), and Otani Yoshitsugu.

Among these, on the day, customers will choose from Oda Nobunaga, Tokugawa Ieyasu, and Kicho.

This series has many parts and is a bit more challenging, so our staff are concerned about how it will go.

But in any experience, everyone seems to progress by looking at the Japanese instruction manual, even if they are from overseas.

So we are expecting everyone's creative enthusiasm this time too!

We are very much looking forward to seeing what kind of samurai they will create!

Our "Washi Korokoro" crafting experience is held every year at airports where people from overseas come and go, aimed at inbound customers.

At that time, it seems that the event company prepares instruction manuals in English.

At our shop, we have many inbound customers from various countries.

The number is as many as 38 countries (individuals and groups).

North and South America:

USA, Brazil, Canada

Asia:

Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, China, East Timor, Nepal, India, Israel, Cambodia, Laos, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Pakistan, Malaysia

Europe:

UK, France, Germany, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Italy

Oceania:

Minowa's Musings 【Where Did Autumn Go...】

This morning's temperature was 4℃.

Until yesterday, it was just a bit chilly when waking up,

but this morning was so cold I had to bring out the heater.

Shivering, I filled it with kerosene... So cold!

There were signs since yesterday,

but I never expected the temperature to drop this much.

The town's scenery hasn't even started to change colors,

and the leaves might wither before they turn red.

But during the day, the sun is so strong it's almost hot.

I dressed warmly because of the morning chill, but ended up putting on and taking off layers all day.

It was a busy day.

Everyone, please be careful not to catch a cold due to the temperature fluctuations.

Take care.
