什么是“猿宝宝（さるぼぼ）”…▼

“猿宝宝（さるぼぼ）”是起源于岐阜县飞驒地区、以猴子为原型制作的日本传统人偶。 
在飞驒方言中，“さる”意为猿，“ぼぼ”意为婴儿，因为外形酷似小猴宝宝，因此得名“猿宝宝”。
相传最初是母亲们为了祈愿女儿和孙儿健康成长、好姻缘、顺产以及夫妻和睦而亲手制作的吉祥护身人偶。
如今，“猿宝宝”作为日本热门伴手礼和旅游纪念品而广为人知。

What is Sarubobo…▼

Sarubobo is a good-luck doll shaped like a monkey, made in the Hida region of Gifu Prefecture in Japan. 
In the local Hida dialect, “saru” means monkey and “bobo” means baby, so the name comes from its resemblance to a baby monkey.
It is said that mothers originally hand-made Sarubobo dolls while praying for their daughters’ and grandchildren’s healthy growth, good marriage, safe childbirth, and happy families.
Today, Sarubobo is widely known as a popular Japanese souvenir for visitors from around the world.

 About Bansho-ji Temple ▼
Bansho-ji Temple, located in Osu, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, is a historic temple founded in the 16th century by Oda Nobuhide, the father of Oda Nobunaga. It is a landmark in the center of the Osu shopping district, known for its stories connected to Nobunaga and for performances of mechanical dolls (karakuri ningyo).
The mascot character “Hakubi-kun” is based on the fox deity (Inari) said to have long lived at Bansho-ji Temple. The motif is a “white fox.”

愛知県名古屋市大須にある万松寺（萬松寺は、16世紀に織田信長の父・織田信秀が建立した歴史ある寺院です。大須商店街の中心に位置するランドマーク的な存在で、信長にまつわるエピソードや、からくり人形の上演でも知られています。
マスコットキャラクターの"はくびくん”は万松寺に昔から住んでいたとされるお稲荷さん。「白きつね」がモチーフです。
