【Company Overview of Ishikawa Shigyo】

Ishikawa Shigyo Co., Ltd. was founded in 1902 (Meiji 35) in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture, known for its Mino Washi. Guided by the philosophy of “handmade craftsmanship by the washi maker,” we specialize in manufacturing and wholesale of Mino Washi goods. We incorporate entertainment into traditional crafts through planning, development, production, and sales. We hold the top (world’s highest) number of Mino Washi Brand certifications.

We offer OEM production and custom creations. Our lineup includes hand-dyed Mino Washi, Chiyogami, DIY kits, washi dolls, New Year’s zodiac ornaments, 12 zodiac figurines, Hina dolls, Ohinasama, Gogatsu Ningyo (samurai dolls), kabuto displays, koinobori decorations, entrance decorations, seasonal ornaments, washi korokoro, chirimen dolls, washi papier-mâché, kokeshi, inbound tourism goods, overseas souvenirs, Japanese souvenirs, Japanese stationery, small gift envelopes (pochibukuro), special gift envelopes, bookmarks, memo pads, origami, diaries, pen cases, postcard boxes, goshuincho, washi umbrellas, folding fans, uchiwa fans, fan pouches, washi photo frames, business card holders, card cases, washi accessories (earrings, brooches, hair ties), washi magnets (clip-type), tenugui towels, Japanese-patterned towels, kaishi paper, oil blotting sheets, washi coasters, torn-paper art, postcard hangers, tapestries, netsuke charms, toothpick holders, ear picks, Japanese toys, regional toys, and more.
